Marathon I Lite is denser, darker green, finer leafed and slower growing than previous generations. It can be mowed shorter resulting in a more compact carpet-like appearance. Its slower growth rate results in significantly lower clipping yield which, in turn, lowers disposal volume. Mowing frequency may also be reduced, particularly during cooler seasons. Marathon I Lite contains “Shortcut” which is our proprietary variety developed through a cooperative research program. Delivery San Bernardino, San Diego, and Riverside are delivered on Tues, Thurs, and Saturday only. LA, Orange, and Ventura County are delivered Tues – Saturday. | |
